Spaces and Communities are the two fundamental components of Interacta, where you can find the various communities that make up and populate it. You can be a part of different Spaces, each of which is divided into dedicated Communities for specific topics.
A Space is a workspace that contains various Communities, which are thematic channels where people collaborate. You can be a member of one or more Spaces, and you can find the corresponding icons at the top left of your Interacta, below the Home.
If you are a member of more than 10 communities, the list of Spaces and Communities will be condensed, remaining easily accessible but taking up less space.
However, if you are in 10 communities or fewer, you will see the complete list below the Home. If you want to condense the list of communities into a Space and view fewer items, simply click the arrow-shaped icon located on the right next to the Space's name.
A Community is a thematic space contained within a Space where, depending on your permissions, you can view or create new Posts and interact with other members who are part of it.
Similar to Spaces, you can be a member of one or more Communities. In your Interacta, you'll find a list of the Communities of which you are already a member, listed under their respective Spaces.
To access a specific Community, simply click on its name, and you will see only the Posts within that particular Community.
The Community Overview page provides you with a 360-degree view of each community, allowing you to see the most important information such as the name, description, activation date, cover image, all in one screen.
With the overview, you are always informed about the actions you can take within the community and who the administrators are. Additionally, you have access to information about the number of published posts, attachments in the community, hashtags, post publishing tips, the active process, and the last 3 modified posts.
You can choose which and how many Communities to display in the 'My Communities' section, located at the top of the list of your communities in the left sidebar menu.
You can manage the display of Communities by:
Clicking on the pencil icon next to 'My Communities' in the center of the page;
then, select or deselect the checkboxes for the Communities you are interested in or not.
