Notifications help you stay updated on Interacta's latest news. When you select 'Follow' or 'Like' on a post, or comment on it, these actions will enable you to receive notifications.
Additionally, you can receive notifications if someone @mentions you in a post or comment to get your attention.
Notifications are indicated by the bell icon, which you can click to open the dedicated section:
by clicking on a notification, it will be marked as read and removed from the counter. You will also be redirected to the post that generated it;
clicking 'Mark as Read' will reset the counter.
To read your notifications, click on the bell icon at the top right. To mark them as read, click on 'Mark all as read' at the top.
At the top right, in the Profile section, you can visit the Notification Center.
Here, you can customize your notification settings based on your preferences to ensure maximum flexibility in managing notifications.
There are three different ways you can receive notifications on Interacta:
- In app
- Pop-up
- E-mail (which you can choose to disable)
Additionally, you have the option to select the type of updates that interest you the most, such as Mentions, Comments and Replies, Likes, Event invitations, and Tasks.
This way, you can have complete control over your notifications and stay informed about what matters most to you.
Note: It is not possible to completely eliminate all notifications, even by disabling emails, as you will still receive push notifications. In any case, user creation emails, password reset, and private address verification emails will always be sent.
The Notification Center provides you with the ability to view all of the Community notification settings in an organized and easy-to-manage way.
This way, you can choose to receive notifications only for the communities that interest you or disable notifications that are not necessary for those that do not require your attention.
