You can easily search and find what you need in Interacta using the dedicated Search tool, which can also be used within individual Communities, and the filtering system to further refine your search and obtain more precise and specific results.
You have access to a basic Search tool, which allows you to search within the entire application (posts, comments, and attachments), as well as one dedicated to the individual Communities you are a part of.
To initiate a search, click on the search box at the top right and enter your keyword. You will be shown all results that include that keyword in the title, description, attachment name, attachment content, or a #hashtag.
Interacta's search allows you to look for exact words or phrases by using double quotes (e.g., "natural interaction").
You can use these sections that appear at the top after your search to refine the found results:
All - Includes all types of results related to your search keyword across all data in Interacta;
Posts - Displays only the posts in Interacta that contain your search keyword;
Comments - Shows comments that contain your search keyword;
Media - Displays only media files (videos, audio, images) in Interacta that contain your search keyword;
Documents - Shows only documents (text files, spreadsheets, presentations, PDFs, etc.) in Interacta that contain your search keyword.
At the top, you will find the Search for hashtags and Community filter, allowing you to select one or more reference Communities to narrow down your search scope. On the right, you will find Other filters, useful for filtering results by publication date, author, or last modification date.
If you are searching for something using the search bar, you can refine your search by specifying:
Exact phrases and words that must be included in the results
Words to exclude that should not be present in the results.
You can use an application mask that guides the composition of the search string, or you can directly type the text you want to search for in the search bar, using the "+" and "-" operators to define the desired search conditions.
To initiate a search, click on the magnifying glass icon at the top and enter your keyword. You will be shown all results that include that word in Posts, attachments such as Media and Documents, and in Comments.
Even for the Mobile App, you have filters available for hashtags, communities, authors, publication date, and modification date. To use them, click on the symbol at the top right.
Use filters to refine your search in Interacta and allow you to view only the content that interests you.
